I currently lease a car through a salary sacrifice scheme. Can I claim the essential car user allowance that my employer provides for staff who need access to a vehicle for work ?

This query would probably be better suited to the "Employment, Job Seeking & Training" forum.  I understand why you have posted under "Benefits and Tax Credits" but this area is more aimed at queries about state benefits rather than employment benefits.

I suspect that no-one can answer the query you have asked other than your employer as the question seems to be very specific about the rules of their Essential Car User Allowance payments and how that interacts with their Salary Sacrifice Car scheme.
Can your HR department provide you with the company policy or rules for the two schemes?
