Auto re-directing Gmail emails?

Options
Is this possible....

You have a number of emails come in to your inbox. Some from eBay and let's say some from  your bank as well as other emails.
Let's say to keep this example simple, you want to re-direct eBay & bank emails in to their own individual folders but you want it done automatically (so you'll need a (1) next to that folder so that you know you have an unread email waiting for you).

But you don't use Gmail in a browser. You use Microsoft Outlook to access your emails.

1) Is it possible?
2) If yes then how?
3) Does it send a duplicate to the required folder or does it send the 1 and only version to that folder?
