If a garage has a 10 year guarantee but in the small print it says , if you alter the garage in any way it is void , does that mean my statutary rights are also void ?

I suspect it would depend on what the alterations were (how much they affect the structure) and how determined you are.

You might find that the alteration effects your statuary rights as well.

As above without knowing exactly has been done it is simply a guess.
