Going in three weeks & wife is after a pair for Xmas, is it worth buying over there? Looked high & low on Tinterweb & can't see anything

    Things could have changed as I haven't been there since Covid but on the whole it's a tourist town so prices are high. So not much difference.
    The types of designs are different to the UK and is that the sort of thing she likes?

    Are you returning via Sharm airport or through Cairo?
    There is some lovely stuff at Cairo airport, imported from  other places so more European.

    If you see some you like do not let the seller know you are keen. Then bartar.
    I went back for a second look and all was lost. Price wouldn't drop. Still very pleased with my Italian  bracelet though. Still a bit cheaper than the UK and definitely better quality.

    It's generally not much better value than in the UK if you avoid the high street brands or fashion brands but does have different designs than you'd routinely find here (unless you really go looking). Depending on how much you intend to spend then you'd also have taxes to pay on importation in which case any saving is likely to be wiped out.
