  • Well it looks like they have gone with the scatter gun approach! In respect of the substantive allegation, the first one, does the approval that you have in writing cover all of the absence they say was unauthorised?

    No it covered the first day. They were checking with the director to double check but I heard nothing back to say no

    Were you specifically asked to follow the procedure for booking leave and did you amend the rota as per the accusation? Oh, and by the way, how long have you worked there?

    The policy is the request needs to be approved by my immediate manager who wasn’t there until I was already on leave

    I was told the person in charge would need to double check with hr or the director but I heard nothing back after that. We are told to amend the rota ourselves for holidays

    No everyone has to do the same. I’ve been there for two years

    We’ve been told by management that we need to use all of holiday up for this year or we will lose it and we weren’t allowed to carry any forward
