I received a letter from this people (2 letters actually) within 2 weeks period, I replied to there request and 4 days after my reply, I received an anonymous call from them, I told them i already replied to their request and that the should reply to my offer/request. The lady said they operate that way but only via phone, I told her I don't believe that is true and why did they sent me 2 letters if they don't operate via letters, I later told her but I do not deal with resolving financial issues on the phone but only via letter to keep an evidence of communication and I will have to end the conversation. Is this right/true they can choose not to communicate via letter? and what are my statutory rights on the matter? I am willing to pay and already make an offer expecting them to tell me if it is acepted or way forward. Please advise

I certainly wouldn't deal with that issue over the phone, I would want it in writing.
I would be putting in a complaint with both Bluestone Credit Management & HMRC saying you refuse to deal with this just verbally .
Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
Just deny the debt and it gets passed back to HMRC1

Have a look at the debt free pages to see if anyone has had the same issue with Bluestone.
Have they advised you what the debt is for? If its passed back to HMRC they can set up a payment plan however they can also have payment removed from your wage.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.
