Virgin Media email issue

I realise I might be clutching at straws here. I left Virgin and for a few months I was still able to access my Virgin emails, all of a sudden (no warning) my access stopped. I definitely don’t want something for nothing but I thought they might warn me when they were about to close my account? Is it possible for me to access my Virgin email account, I’m quite willing to pay. Any advice appreciated, thank you. (Is there a Virgin number I can use)

From Virgin website:

Any emails you want to keep from your Virgin Media email address, as this will close 90 days after your disconnection date. Just make sure you forward anything important to a new email address.
