so i completed comparison questions for full cover, decided to go with RAC and it took me to Rac own site where prices were considerably higher, no option just to buy the quoted offer, same with AA, somewhat surprised, looks like i will be going back to Green Flag (direct) as any of the other suppliers i have never heard of

Personally I would recommend Start Rescue, most of my family are with them and they have had a few call outs and never had an issue with themFTB - April 20200

We were with Driver Guardian for many years, at the last count think it was about £95 for full UK and Europe cover. Called them out twice, (once in Ireland) no problems. Only dropped them when the new car came along with AA cover but will cancel them at end of the term - I think their comparative pricing would be over £250 and not sure performance is that good (waited nearly three hours to attend to a flat tyre)0

My slight concern with VRO-based services, as opposed to RAC/AA is if you go to your car parked outside and the battery is gone (it happens!) you can get the AA or RAC to come and fit a new one (you pay for it of course). I am not sure if this is the case with other services.0

I've used Autoaid for a while (partly as it's MSE recommended). It's comprehensive breakdown cover for me and my wife (2 cars) for just under £60. Only down side is a £25 excess if your vehicle is 10 years or more. I've used the service a couple of times and the service was very good0
