Norstat/Panelbase Change for the worse!

  • Love2shop vouchers are available now (or were about an hour ago), - can get a £5 voucher for only 50 Nortstat points (cheaper than the other vouchers/giftcards), you need to redeem your points (involves getting a verification code via email) then claim a giftcard /e-voucher on love2shop's site, then love2shop either post you a card or email you with a link for the voucher. (Claimed a Costa voucher & got an email with a link to a page with the voucher info & a QR code to scan in store, or a pdf to print out with the qr code etc).

eta: Is it me or has love2shop got a lot less merchants available these days?

I've managed to claim £15 in vouchers since Panelbase closed, and I'd hardly used it for ages til recently (crammed surveys trying to get enough points to cash out after they announced they were closing/merging in case it vanished for good + got lucky with the prize draw).

Had one suspect Norstat survey, wanted me to install a dodgy looking extension and log into my amazon or other streaming account so it could monitor what programmes I've watched.
Panelbase used to have a similar one regarding Netflix, it paid £1.50 iirc. Don't really watch that much Netflix so I'd put the app on (TV and media something or other), get my £1.50 then delete it. About 6 weeks later it would come up again.

Did they remove the cash option. I'm sure I used that recently but can't seem to find it now

Yep, I couldn't see a cash option. I had to buy physical gift cards instead as the e-cards just seemed too faffy.

They've arrived within 24 hours so its fair enough.

I think they are in the process of transferring the banking function as they have advised of delays with payments since end of January.  Perhaps they have removed the option of new cash payments until it's resolved

Yes, I think this must be the case.  I had an email about delayed payments as I have a BACS one stuck in the ether with them.  I cashed out earlier this week again and didn't have the option this time.

I managed to get an Amazon e-voucher, but the process was definitely a bit convoluted.
  • It was still there when I cashed out £10 at the end of January. No sign of it yet and since them they have told me about needing to set up a new authorisation with their bank because it was still using the Panelbase details. Hopefully at some point it will be sorted!

I've had an email today which says any o/s payments will go through on Monday 4th March.  It also said cash payment option is back on the site now too
  • Just had that email as well. So fingers crossed!
