Parcelforce Customs!!

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I just had a question regarding Parcelforce customs. I have what parcel force class as a high value item (over £900) that has been in customs since the 23 November 2023.
I contacted Parcelforce last week to ask about where it was, and they told me to email pfw-ccb@parcelforce.co.uk and ask them to remove my item from the high value store. I sent this email on 30 November 2023. There has still been no movement on my item, even though I have completed the customs forms which were sent to me.
I wondered how long I had to have a parcel sit in customs until I can file some sort of complaint or inquiry into where my item is and how long it will take for me to receive it. The parcel is coming from America, I didn't expect it to be here the next day however, it has been in the UK since the 15th November 2023.

I haven't even received a letter regarding that yet, they just asked me to confirm what was in the parcel and how much it cost etc. Should I phone and ask if there are charges?Hoenir said:Have you paid the assessed importation charges?0 -
I haven't had any letters or correspondence regarding a fee yet, the only letter I got was a form which told me to declare the contents and the value of the item. Should I phone and ask if there are any charges?DUBVENDOR said:Pay the fee and the item will be sent out for delivery0 -

The fee will depend on the value of the item and if it is a gift . As you have not sent the information .The parcel can not be sent on . I don't see how you can have any complaint with PF or UKBA .georgiap2005 said:

There'll definately be charges. Customs Duty and Vat along with a processing fee.georgiap2005 said:

Sounds as if the shipper hasn't provided full documentation with the package. Hence why it'll take far longer to process. Your response will simply go to the back of the queue and wait it's turn. Not going to expedite it unfortunately. Some years back took me 5 weeks for me to get a large shipment through Coventry that had been sent from the USA. Customs can be extremely diligent.2
