LISA - Moneybox / pension.

Hi, I have recently taken out a LISA with Moneybox, just popped up on their app saying, if I was to move my pension (currently with Aviva), that they would give me a £1000 contribution towards the LISA account.
my Aviva pension is doing pretty well, if I was to transfer this, could I continue paying my Aviva pension from my workplace, or would my employer then pay money box?

Almost certainly your employer would not want to pay to Moneybox, as it would mean making an exception for one employee. You could always ask though.Mikej92 said:Hi, I have recently taken out a LISA with Moneybox, just popped up on their app saying, if I was to move my pension (currently with Aviva), that they would give me a £1000 contribution towards the LISA account.

An alternative could be that you could make regular part transfers out of the Aviva pension to the Moneybox one. Again though you would have to ask if it was allowed.
More importantly you should not be making decisions on your pension based on a one off £1000 cashback offer.
You need to look carefully at charges for both and what investments are available. Only if a transfer made sense would it be sensible to go ahead ( if it was possible).0
