Settled Mortgage style loan, when it was due to be written off - any chance of a refund?

Hi,
I was offered a settlement fee for my mortgage style loan, with Erudio. I accepted, thinking I may be promoted soon, however, the loan was due to be written off a few months later and I think I would have been better off not paying the settlement fee. Do I stand any chance of a refund, eg due to being misled?
Many Thanks

Many ThanksIf you asked them when the loan would be written off and they got it wrong, then you may have some redress. If you didn’t ask the question, then I don’t think you can accuse them of misleading you. It really is down to you to do due diligence in this respect. All voluntary student loan repayments are non refundable.I assume it was written off either due to it having been in repayment a set amount of time or your age. This is set out clearly on the website, so I don’t think you could claim to be unaware: https://www.erudiostudentloans.co.uk/content/capquest/erudio/en/news/age-related-cancellation.htmlI'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
