I have just had a new boiler fitted 3 weeks ago and it has been plagued with problems.
First of all it kept running 24 hours a day and we couldn't switch it off.
Then it wouldn't heat the radiators up even when the boiler was running.
Last week the boiler would not come on when the timer was set and I have had to keep re setting it on a daily basis.
We went 2 days with no heating or hot water as there were no engineers available and the boiler would not come on even when I re-set it.
I have rung British Gas and they have sent engineers out 5 times and they have tried to sort it out but it is still on the blink.
Todays engineer has ordered a new circuit board which won't be available until January 2nd.
I am a bit worried that it is already having parts replaced and it is not even a month old yet.
Any advice on what course of action I could take would be greatly appreciated.
If it had been anything else I would have bagged it up and returned it to the shop.
