Starling Bank – any bribes, offers or promos for opening an account?

Thinking of opening a joint bank account with Starling Bank, main reason being to take advantage of their free child account which you can manage via their app.
From a cursory search, I can't see any bribes, offers or promotional money to encourage us to do so.
Is there any? Have they offered anything in the past?
If there was a sufficiently generous offer for switching, we would probably do so to make Starling our main joint account otherwise will just open an account to maintain some fiscal discipline over the offspring. :D

Nothing - I think they might have done some referral based thing in their early years over Black Friday, but we're talking 5 years (perhaps) ago now.

Of course, nothing to stop them throwing an offer in the ring tomorrow but it'd be uncharacteristic for them.

I've just looked in the app and if I refer a friend we both get a National Trust day pass.

  • Thanks all for your replies.
We'll join to take advantage of the child account functionality and see how that pans out.

I gather that it's a day pass for the English one?
