Although watching it switch would confirm rhe point about GMT/BST.0 -
I have an E7 smart meter. The actual switching to off-peak rate remained at the GMT times although the clock display time did change to BST.
As has also been mentioned, your nominal hours may be 0030 to 0730 GMT but the actual switch time is decided my the regional electricity supplier (that's not your billing company). Mine is actually 0039 to 0739 GMT.1 -
If smart meters are so 'smart' why can't they just show my E7 rate switch times?

My IHD "sort of" displays the E7 switch times BUT it is wrong because, it shows a count down in 10 minute blocks on the RHS of the display starting one hour before the "supposed" change. This is based on the nominal off-peak/peak times - mine 0030-0730 GMT rather than the exact time of switch 0039 & 0739 GMT. This is due to the two lots of information being stored in 2 different registers.
This is clearly poorly thought through programming, however I suspect it's a historical problem because when the basic idea of smart meters was developed they didn't give a lot of thought to multiple rate tariffs!
Whether the actual times/registers on the meter can be displayed by "playing" with the buttons on the meter, I haven't a clue as I can't find any destructions on what all the "options" with the two buttons on my meter do, and I don't want to risk messing something up.3 -

May I ask what region your in & what your MTSC is?
