Barclays Switch - Can I cancel the Blue Rewards?

I did the switch to Barclays in November. Today I got the first £5 charge for Blue Rewards. I know that I'll get £5 back each month too, and I will make sure I spend £200 on the debit card this month to get another £10 back, but can I just cancel the whole Blue Rewards thing once that's done? It's a burner account and I don't use it for anything else, but as it stands I have to have 2 direct debits and pay in £800 a month. If I cancel the Blue Rewards part of the account I won't need these additional standing orders and DDs. Anyone else done this?

You don't say if you've received the incentive yet, but I would not cancel Blue rewards until you have.1

I probably won't get the incentive this month as one of my direct debits didn't go through - they are taking a double payment in December instead!0

Thanks. And if I cancel the Blue Rewards and keep the account, do I still have to pay in £800 a month and have 2 active direct debits? Or can I just keep the account "dormant" with nothing going in or out and without incurring the £5 a month charge?0

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
