Gifting a premium bond

We are trying to buy £25 premium bonds for a relative for Christmas. They suggest it's a simple transaction online but it just keeps asking if it's for myself or a child. It is neither. They're an adult.
There doesn't seem to be anywhere online that allows me to buy for someone else.
It doesn't seem as simple as I'd like.

Simply you can't. You can buy for any child but other than that you can only buy for yourself.0
