Fitting skirting boards

Hey dudes, I have to fit some skirtings in my kitchen shortly.....how best do I attach them to a sold block wall? These? https://amzn.eu/d/0yHrD0J I'm not sure they'll go into a solid wall?

One way of fixing skirtings is to work out where the mortar joints are and place panel pins through skirting to line up with mortar joints using a pin hammer and if need be a nail punch. That seems to be what you have found.
Modern way would be to put a bit of adhesive on as well.
