Just fix some computer fans to the bottom of the radiator to blow air upwards over the fins. Inobtrusive and at least £50 cheaper.0

My PC has a fit and wont open that page, not safe.0

From the blurb -It’s the parent-pending, compact and portable multi-fan heat circulator designed to reduce energy wastage and save you money.
I think they mean "patent pending". If not, they are waiting on Mum & Dad to give an opinion.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -

I can maybe see the utility of it for people who can't do a DIY thing and who know they are struggling with their warm air going straight to the ceiling or out the window.
I would wonder whether just a stand fan (that can then also be used in summer) would do just as good a job, but the flip side of them potentially being cheaper may be that they use more power, and of course have to be plugged in. Plus they take up more space and might be too breezy for keeping warm!
But there might be other options that are just as good at doing the radiator fan job but cheaper. And from sites that feel and sound a bit more reliable.0 -
Still blowing air upwards though,
The point is that increasing the airflow will increase the output of the radiator. Blowing the air sideways isn't going to make a huge difference as the warmer air will rise, so you won't feel it directly.

Depending on what you’re trying to achieve, the concept of a radiator fan is a perfectly viable one and a sound way of increasing the heat output of a radiator. The price, however, not so much.Don’t get sucked in by any marketing guff, that device isn’t much more than a few PC style fans and a battery with some temperature sensing control equipment in a neatly presented box. Nothing necessarily wrong with it, but you could find similar ready made solutions that perform the same function for half the price it’s being sold at, or for some a basic DYI solution may be under a third of the cost.Moo…2

A fan will more likely cool the radiator from the area it is taking heat and if on a trv the radiator will request more heat. Ouch my head hurts on that one.
It will just blow the heat in a desired direction.0 -
Correction a fan will not increase the heat output of a radiator
Yes it will. Have you never heard of wind-chill? This is the opposite.
