Help and advice
My annual usage is
Electric 1930
Gas 3095
I'm with eon next Next Pledge Tracker 12m V1
Electricity
Unit Rate 25.034p per kWh
Standing charge 48.967p per day
And
Gas
Unit Rate 6.362p/kWh
Standing charge 27.726p/day
My question is, as this is a tracker and is guaranteed to be £50 per year cheaper than the price cap, and as the price cap is increasing by 5% in January, should I switch to one of the following tarrifs e.on next have offered me? (I've attached screenshots).
Are wholesale costs lowering next April,
I am particularly keen to move onto a fixed tariff (if it's cost effective) there's an option for an 18 and 24 month fix.
Thank you

Are wholesale costs lowering next April,Usually prices are seasonal and go down with lower demand. However, we are living in unstable times, as far as energy supply is concerned.I am particularly keen to move onto a fixed tariff (if it's cost effective) there's an option for an 18 and 24 month fix.
Fixes are generally more expensive, at the moment, than the SVT, for the reasons given above.
