Oh OH..sorry for the caps lock.
what are decent general day to day work for a laptop ??
- 8GB+ RAM
- 200GB ROM (built in memory)
what more ???
ROM is read only memory so not sure why you'd want 200gb of it, normally your limited to a tiny amount for the BIOS etc and thats EEPROM
Think you meant storage which would at the budget end by a hard drive or a SSD at the above budget. Windows 11 on its own wants nearly 100gb so that would only leave you with 100gb for applications and storage of files, caches etc.
With an ultra thin budget its more important to talk about what your priorities are going to be as there will be a lot of compromises and so mentioning spec when it seems its not your strong point is less helpful.... do you want to play games? Is it more important that you can edit video quickly or that the laptop boots quickly?0 -

NO, i will NOT be playing games
No need for the laptop to boot so quickly
I do not edit videos just music. so thats why i need a large storage if possible. but i do have an external Samsung 1TB hard drive for me to move file and music to the external drive.
Many thanks

When do you plan to actually PURCHASE a laptop? I ask, as you appear to initiate these threads and then wander off for months, rendering all help offered to you useless by that time.0 -
