    • All advent competitions go live at 10am and end at 11:59pm every day from 1st December to 24th December. Any entries after this time will not be accepted. 
    • Advent competitions will be held across either Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube or the Hornby website. Only one platform will hold the competition per day. 
    • You must be aged 16 or over to enter the competition. Anyone under 18 must have their parents' or guardians' permission to enter and share contact details.  
    • Any competition including Coca-Cola products must be aged 18 or over to enter.  
    • Closing date for entries is as stated on the competition post, any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.  
    • Winner to be announced at 1pm the following day on our social media accounts and on our website competition page. All competitions held on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will have the winners announced on the following Monday.  
    • The name and town of residence of the winner may be displayed on the Hornby Hobbies websites or social media channels. 
    • Winners will have 14 days from notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not claim their prize within this timeframe, the prize will be withdrawn and will be used for future competitions. 
    • It’s the responsibility of the entrant to check our website at https://uk.hornby.com/community/blog-and-news/competitions-1/competition-winners for the winner.  
    • The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.  
    • It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details. Hornby cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize. 
    • Hornby Hobbies takes no responsibility for entries which are not received. 
    • This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. 
    • Employees of Hornby Hobbies and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or "step" family), associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion are exempt from entering.  
    • Any entries submitted by agents, or third parties will be invalid and will not be accepted. 
    • Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatever reason. 
    • Prizes will be sent within 14 days of the winner providing a delivery address. 
    • By entering a competition, you are consenting to receive email communications from Hornby Hobbies Ltd. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time. 
    • The decision of Hornby Hobbies is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize promotion. 
    • Hornby Hobbies reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize promotion at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the rules on the site. 
    • Entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    Day 9 was supposed to be on the website but they've had technical issues. They have added the following update to the comments on Facebook so you can enter by commenting there:

    'Update: unfortunately our website encountered some technical difficulties whilst uploading the competition form. However for today competition we will still be selecting a winner from the comments sections for todays advent giveaway. Best of luck to everyone!'
