Advent Comps

Hi all

I have tried to enter the advents,but seem to be getting nowhere fast,lol.
I thought maybe just enter the "normal" comps,but was wondering if the Advents also show up in the general comps threads.
Or can I have advise how to do keep up,seems harder than when I did ten years ago lol x

The Advents have their own sub board now, they all start A: 24/12, instead of E:..
They aren't repeated on the Competition Time thread (in theory, the odd one gets through)

I imagine everyone has their own methods.   Personally (I use a Tablet), I go through the Advents Board from as soon as competitions start to be listed.  I then bookmark the ones I want to do and save them into an Advents 2023 folder on my Tablet.  Then each day, I just go through that folder and enter them.   Also though, I check the Advents Board once a day for any new comps that may be added (and add them to my bookmarked folder, etc etc).

After early years of chaos, I found this system worked for me.  The busiest time is around the beginning is the month when tons get added to the Advents Board!  The other night I was trying to catch up and @jacknutter was listing as fast as I could look at them!!!

I keep a log in a document so I know which ones I done. But link them to the threads on here.
I've only got 29 listed at the moment. I hope to be doing more daily, but life is busier than previous years at the moment.
Last year was the first time doing it this way and it worked well for me.
