Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, hope your patient behaved themselves.
Very cold and frosty this morning, I've had the heating on for a bit to take the chill off. Forgot to put the dishwasher on last night so it's had a quick wash this morning as I've run out of cups for work.
Glad your job is going well Coxy, there's always a moaner!
Sorry to hear you have lost your Uncle Ruby.
Hope your mouth heals up quickly Jackie.
Hoping your new meds work Nanny.
Ooh, some of you have snow - how exciting!
Friday again thank goodness, looking forward to a weekend of meet ups and good food, will be going to Glasgow tomorrow with some work colleagues, should be good fun.
Not much to report here, it's been quite a calm week for once.
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX11 -
Good morning, woken up to a cold white world, but looks nice.
I'm supposed to be going to Dobb!es this morning to meet a friend, but I'll still go if she is, she has a little bit further to travel than me.
I just pottered on yesterday, making lists, crossing things off other lists, and so on. I nipped out to the shops, our High Street was busy.
Hoping everyone has a good day today, stay warm and safe.

Morning folks. Thankfully no more snow overnight but yesterday's offering is still lying there looking frozen and deadly. I'll go out when it's light and chuck some salt down the front steps. I'm not venturing out but the postman (if he calls) might thank me for it.
Friday Tidy today. Can I bear the excitement! The dw put on last night is still to empty as I cba yesterday. Then the washing which is festooning the upstairs is to put away. Later will be new month banking day. Cleaning in and among.
I had DGDs for tea yesterday. DD asked if 2 youngest could come after school as her and her DP were going out for afternoon tea. Not exactly the weather for it but it was the last day to "spend" the gift voucher they had been given. As always they were good company with many tales to tell me.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need. CAMELOT have a good day out tomorrow. COXY I hope the moaning one was less moany yesterday. Sympathy on the loss of your "uncle" RUBY. Take care all and be safe xx

Pinch punch..
My drive to Glasgow yesterday started with de-icing half the car. Only the windscreen and two driver's side windows frost up. The dental check up and hygienist descaling were problem free. I collected the new bed linen, posted two parcels to Germany and did some shopping in the newly enlarged M&S. I found three items in the chilled section which were dated the previous day, took them to a member of staff who didn't seemed too bothered. It took me going to three different pharmacies to find wooden cuticle sticks. No idea why there's such a shortage of a basic tool.Coming home was so lovely, the day was bright blue, windless and bitterly cold. The combination of russet brown trees and mirror-like water in the lochs was simply glorious. Luckily the road was particularly clear for a lot of the way so I could enjoy the sights Especially spectacular was when I was nearing home and the trees were still frosted, it was like driving through a Christmas card.
Today is monthly banking time. I'll also dig out my old Advent wreath and candies, first candle will be lit on Sunday.12 -
Morning allBrrrrr it's very white out there. Plenty of car windscreen scraping before I go out to do some shopping in a while. Not alot going on here at the mo apart from the usual emptying of the washing machine and hanging it up in the spare room.Stay warm everyone and {{hugs}} to all that need them x12

Morning all. December already!
We had the usual heavy frost overnight; in fact I had to de ice my car to drive down the M1 at 6.30pm last night.
Have had a couple of busy days this week, out shopping with DD and the baby grandson yesterday, so having a catch up day at home today. All my Christmas cards are now written so I might start posting a few. I prefer to wrap presents nearer the time as it seems more festive that way.
Off for more tea now. Take care everyone.13 -
Morning everyone
We have a pretty covering of snow here - until it gets all slushy. The kids at nursery will be hyper - they squealed every time there was a tiny snowflake yesterday!
I'll go down to mam and dads tod do his banking this morning then work at lunch time.
Little one has a Christmas craft morning, DD is going - she was very excited yesterday as she's going to wear her Christmas dress I got her - little one not DD! I got it in one of our charity shops for £2.50n- bright red top with trees, candy canes and gingerbread men on and a sparkly pocket then the skirt is several layers of red lace with more Christmas things stitched on and then - wait for it - white and silver pom poms inside the lace for snowballs. Four year olds dream dress. I got her a hair band with jiggly santas on to complete the look.
Well I'm waffling so I'd better get on. Hope everyone has a good day - be careful if you've got snow x11
