Credit Score Question

I have a question regarding my credit score and I wondered if anybody on the board is able to help.
My current score is 893. In the next couple of months, I am interested in getting a credit card for stoozing (one of the £5000 credit limit ones mentioned in a recent MSE email), a 0% interest credit card to buy a laptop (credit limit will presumably be around £2000) and a 0% balance transfer for my current Halifax credit card. I have currently have 5 credit agreements - 4 of which have been opened in the past 6 months.
Does anybody know if I am likely to be accepted for the 3 new credit agreements listed? If I am accepted, does anybody know the possible effect these will have on my credit score?
Also, my 0% interest overdraft expires in May, and it looks like a may need to open a new 0% interest overdraft current account for this. When a new current account is opened, can it anybody tell me if a credit search is performed?
Many thanks in advance.

Yes, when you apply to open a new current account they do a credit search on your credit file.0

The more credit cards you have, the more of a risk you are deemed to be, and your credit score is not as good.
It is a good idea to cancell all old credit cards you are taking balances off. I actually cancelled three credit cards this afternoon. An amex card, HSBC and Barclaycard, none of which I need and none of which offer me anything useful now. Also, when closed, after a while these companies will see you as a new prospective client and will offer you all their latest deals, very handy for tarting when the offers on the new ones end.0 -
Hia!
Thats not a bad score to be fair... Unsure if you will obtain 3 cards in the one go. I got two in one go one of which was for cashback (Egg Money) so il never borrow on it.
You should think about canceling a few of your credit accounts and have them marked as settled before you take the plunge. More than 5 I think is a bad sign.0 -
Oh.... out of curiosity does experian class you as "Good" or "Very Good"
just wondering........... how sad am I!0
