Good afternoon all. I hope you don’t mind me reopening this thread, however, there has been some movement, and I’d appreciate some advice (yet again).
I’ve received a ‘Notice of Transfer of Proceedings’
Since then, I’ve had multiple calls from DCB Legal. The two that I’ve answered have tried to settle. The second time the lady I spoke to at DCB Legal actually seemed quite helpful and wanted to find a solution. She did insinuate, however, that because I did not follow MET Parking’s appeals service, I’d be at a disadvantage should this go to court. She offered 50% off the total claim.
I have two questions at this point, if you’d be so kind;
1. Is there anything I need to do at this point?
2. I sent a letter to the court informing them of a change of address, but have not received confirmation. Am I likely to receive confirmation? Should I be worried that I haven’t?
2. Yes I would be concerned and would email the local court where the case has been transferred to, cc in DCB Legal and reiterate the evidence that your address for service has changed and that both the court and DCB Legal MUST erase the old address immediately.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
