Driving licence photo

Afternoon all. I've had the renewal through for my medical restricted licence and this time I've also got to renew my photo. I've had a local store do my new photo for me but my glasses on the picture are very slightly tinted. I've got reactions lenses and they hadn't quite cleared. You can still see my eyes clearly though. Will this be ok to send off with my renewal or do I need to go back and get the store to redo them?

I'd get the photo re-taken.  I suspect tinted glasses are not allowed.  Also the DVLA are less than responsive at the moment. So to ease it through I'd get it re-taken.

I got a passport photo done recently and even though the instructions state you can wear glasses the photographer said it was better to take them off on the off chance that it would cause a problem with my application.  This is fine by me except that I now need to take my glasses off to get through the automated security and I'm nearly blind without them!!

For a few years now I just use my phone to take the photo for licence & passport. It is still common to go to a shop / booth?

I use my smartphone for all my pictures for online applications for passports/ driving licence etc.
Photo booths are few & far between these days.
