E Bay refund

I received a refund from E Bay for an item that did not turn up and the seller was no longer registered with them.  I  can only assume the refund was made by E Bay and not the seller. The item has now arrived from a seller I do not recognise. How do I let E Bay know that I now have the item  At least I think I do as I reordered the same item with another supplier and thought this was the one I received.  However  I received notification from the new supplier that my item has  only now been dispatched. I wouldn't rely on the despatch notification. As a seller it's quite possible for something to be sent and delivered before they mark it dispatched if they don't use eBay postage services.

Don't do anything.  I have often received items and left feedback before they are even marked as dispatched and sometimes they are never marked as dispatched.  What you have received is probably the second one you ordered rather than the first one you ordered

I've often got a dispatch notification after an item has arrived. Probably just the seller realising they hadn't marked it as dispatched.
