Sleep well, cancel the payment to creditfix, and come back here for advice if they are less then supportive.
Meantime, set up a budgeting fund for the stuff that's paid annually and a PCP fund.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing2 -
Ok I've cancelled card payment which is due to come out in 18 days or so.
Last week I had email requesting expenses form within 14 days as my overtime meant i had to pay much more.I had part sent in before 3 months bankstatements, wage slips with only expenses to send before I decided going to let fail.
Now then,do I (as my wife thinks do nothing until payment don't come out),then just say I've chosen to cancel my iva as is my legal right I will deal with creditors directly.
Or do I email them early this week saying the same?
Thank you in advance

I don't think you need to do anything. There's no rush, is there?
After a couple of missed payments they will write to say you are in arrears.
The whole process will take 6-12 months0 -

Thank you0 -
Just touching base, had first email missed payment today.I ignored as said until written arrives.i set up savings/emergency account and put first £200 in.more will go in next payday(an overtime loaded one)
So going to plan.....
Thanks again guys it's great to know there's some good people out there.3 -
Well done so far.
Ok, given that the IVA will sit on your credit record for a few years, and the possible housing issue, you need to have enough for a deposit and a month's rent squirreled away separately. Try finding a 90 day notice account with a decent rate or a fix that only has a short penalty.
You might also want a budgeting fund to cover your annual payments; stuff like insurance is usually cheaper if you pay annually rather than monthly and it can hold your holiday/birthday/Christmas funds. Take the annual costs and divide by 12. And then the emergency fund for emergencies.
Given your housing is currently secure for a while, split any excess pay between those over the next year.
Once you've secured your baseline, you can set up your fighting fund to pay for full and finals once the IVA fails. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The good news is the housing issue(they was looking at knocking bunglow down to build houses)application has been denied so the housing company/landlord has given up,doesn't wish to sell and is happy to rent to us for as long as we want it.
I'm taking on board your kind advice and payday squirelling 5-600 away Jan payday an look to do similar if the overtime keeps coming.were also starting over payment £400 of cars on pcp to have the final figures end of next year.
God willing my wife says there's on or two have been passed to 3rd party this is a plus as they will freeze interest,do plans and even come up with a settlement further down line.
So I'm feeling very positive.
Thank you I really appreciate all your replies everyone1 -
Update.ive had 3rd chaser 28day warning of iva fail so I should get some paperwork cancellation soon.when I do I'll put I wish to cancel my iva as is my legal right and I'll deal with the creditors myself or should I go into more detail ie,job change,no fault eviction, new deposit, wife lost job etc?
I'm guessing just keep it short.I do feel tho people need warning as the debt support team 07947430245 whom got me the iva no longer reply or answer on this number I found company address and spoke, they was in complete denial and said I just contact my credotfix iva manager.
That's after telling me don't say or change anything as although you changed job your rent has gone up it all evens out so do nothing.
Then on actual iva review they want complete ins and outs most likely massive increase and 50% of all overtime which I used for paying back deposit money lent.
My point is these people that advise or crooks and people need warning they just care of fees inbound.
Anyway rant over all still going to plan I'll await paperwork and reply as you guys advise me.
Happy new year!
Kind regards
