Letter before claim for CST Anchor Security/Care Parking

asking for £160 - looking at the advice in the newbies thread i need to send a letter like this... or do i continue to ignore. telling me to pay Credit Style Limited. I was parked in a disabled bay with a badge. i spoke to them onsite and they said they squashed it 3 years ago but this has arrived with nothing in between
Proposed Legal Proceedings
Claimant: Anchor Security Services Ltd
I refer to your letter of claim.
I confirm that my address for service for the time being - assuming you don't delay any claim - is as follows,
The alleged debt is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.
I was not the driver of the car on the day claimed and do not believe I am liable.
I have yet to see any evidence of a parking contravention.
I note that the amount being claimed has increased by a hugely exaggerated amount which the Government called "extorting money from motorists".
I have two questions, and under the PAP I am entitled to specific answers:
1. Am I to understand that the additional £60 represents what you lot dress up as a 'Debt Recovery' fee, and if so, is this net or inclusive of VAT? If the latter, would you kindly explain why I am being asked to pay the operator’s VAT?
2. With regard to the principal alleged PCN sum: Is this damages, or will it be pleaded as consideration for parking?
Yours faithfully

Yes that's fine but get the on site stores to cancel it now. They still can if Anchor are still there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Before the Letter of claim, did you get other nutty debt collectors contact you ?
Interesting letter and if you read the CST group thread, you will see that they fail to answer difficult questions.
Personally, I would send it and we look forward to seeing their reply, if ever

The first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread explain exactly how to react upon receipt of a Letter of Claim.
