Morning everyone
Cold and frosty here but no snow. I had a nice cosy afternoon yesterday wrapping up what I'd bought, I've only a couple of boxes of chocolates to buy now. And the cards still to write. I finished this weeks Sunday Times too.
I'm expecting an engineer to fit my smart meter this morning, this is the 3rd attempt at getting it done. I've had £30 credit each time no-ones turned up so I wouldn't really mind if he didn't come again! My time slot is 8-10 so we'll see.
No...he's just phoned from his van outside to say he can't do it cos the boxes are outside and it's raining...he could get electrocuted or make my electricity go off...I thought they were all outside but maybes not.
I have a few jobs to do this morning and then work at lunchtime.
Taff my festive bake was lovely, they seem to have reduced the amount of meat though
Hope everyone has a good day - Coxy I hope she stops moaning! x11 -
Morning all, I was cold during the night so had to put an extra covering on the bed and this morning it's still only -1. The sky looks really wintry, don't think we're going to get snow though, famous last words !
I spoke to a GP yesterday and have a change of BP meds on their way, so hopefully that will stop or at least diminish the palpitations. I also have another bloods and BP appointment booked and then a follow up GP call for a week later.
Today I have a basket full of washing to do and then I must write my xmas cards as I have a few that will need posting.
Happy St Andrews Day to Gers and others from Scotland.
Coxy hope you enjoy your new job and Miss Moanalot stops whining.
TA boo to the cold 🤧, take care of yourself, wrap up warm and cwtch on the sofa.
JackieO thankfully the pain has gone, hope your mouth heals up quickly.
taff I have 2 cheese and onion bakes in my emergency rations 😁 Hope Fatty is ok now.
Take care all and wrap up warm if you have to go out.

I heard last night that my uncle had passed away, he was not a blood relative but we called him uncle, he was such a funny man and so full of life, sadly he got dementia in the last few years so in a way it’s a blessing it’s over RIP Ted xxx
Today i am going to have a tidy through and then get the dogs out for a walk, will just go to the park as big dog has been limping a bit so just needs a gentle walk.
Washing is on the go but will have to be hung indoors.
