Insurance firm into admininstration

    Can only find https://www.fscs.org.uk/making-a-claim/failed-firms/horizon/ for Octagon Insurance failure but that was before 2020. The only other one under Octagon was a PPI company.

    According to Companies House, the only similar company is Octagon Insurance Services Ltd. That company has been dormant since at least 2016, so unlikely to have affected the OP.

    It will have been the company 400ixl has pointed out, they were based in Gibraltar not the UK but they failed back in 2018 so the OP is confused on dates it seems.

    The FSCS page gives the details of who to contact but being almost exactly 5 years since the failure its going to be getting close to statute barred, if not already barred (not sure the statute of limitations in Gib)

    the octagon had passed me on to zurich insurance .. but they never completely disconnected until late 2020 when my insurance expired for that year and i switched to another company 

    i have all correspondence with octagon or zurich on behalf of octagon
