If your Mum has 'lots of savings', they are presumably generating an income which she can add to her pension income to help meet any eligibility criteria.

I have never once been asked for proof of income.
The banks and CC companies can of course see my banking and credit record on Experian and other credit agencies.
The OP's Mum does not have a credit record so maybe it will be different for her.A man walked into a car showroom.
