Are the Utility Cos. fined for not fitting gas meters or is it only based on electricity meters ??
I ask because I have been attempting to have a smart gas meter fitted for ~ 12 months with two different suppliers.
EDF failed three times to carry out an install when I was with them (they made appointments centrally then almost immediately ,cancelled claiming local issues with meter availability) and now I've been with Octopus for ~ 5 months and ,despite several reminders, they have shown no interest in installing.
