I am preparing a defence against anticipated court proceedings by Excel Parking in relation to a PCN issued because I had entered an incorrect registered number when paying for the parking. These companies are self regulated and as can be seen from posts hereon act in an unscrupulous manner an do not apply any flexibility.  I not the previous post regarding this issue was in 2023 are there any updates or further information that I should be aware of.
Back in December it was suggested that you start your own thread but you are continuing to post about your predicament on the threads of others.

No it wasn't in 2023!  We discuss these cases every day, for example:

    Recent court win:

Recent refusal of Excel's application to appeal a case about a VRM typo (you can use this judgment by HHJ Pema at Bradford):

In your defence (using our 30 paragraph Template Defence) you can add this as your paragraph 3.1 at the time when you have a claim form:

There is no legitimate interest in pursuing a Defendant who paid in full, and this Claimant knows this full well. In a judgment dated 10th June 2024, His Honour Judge Pema (sitting at the County Court at Bradford) refused Excel Parking Services Ltd's attempt to appeal the decision in Case no K4QZ4Y21 which that Defendant won in similar 'VRM keying error' circumstances to the extant claim, which involves the same Claimant.

    But no replies here!

    You need your own thread.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for assistance. I am new to the forum and of an age where this method of communication is unfamiliar.  Presumably to make my own thread I go to "My Threads" and proceed form there?
