All Electric House Bill Comparison
I'd like to know a comparison of how many KwH other similar properties are using PER MONTH as a guide.
3 Bed TimberFrame Semi Detached
2 Occupants
All Electric
Storage Heaters
Solar Panels for hot water assist
No Air Source, Heat Pump etc
Averaging around 500kwH a month (last 2 months)

Does this sound right?

What type of heating do you have?
I would say it sounds reasonably high if you have a heat pump, but otherwise not particularly.1 -
Its just standard with Solar Panels that assist in heating the hot water. Obviously not as effective during winter therefore used more electricity. No heat pump.

No it's not out of the ordinary you might do 750-1000kwh in the winter months.1 -
... or more than that. Double it if it's a hard winter and you like a warm house.MultiFuelBurner said:

I concur, with storage heaters an average of 500kWh overall usage per month for the beginning of the colder weather is really not bad.1 -
For a like for like look up your Epc and the ones for local houses of the same size and construction.

..looks about right to me, we are similar and on average use 300/month in the warmer months, and 800 / month in the colder months.
