There is no need to persecute any trees. Why would you type something up on your computer, print it and then scan it back in? If you're thinking about the issue of "signing" it, it does not have to be a wet signature nor a facsimile of one. Simply typing your name after the statement of truth qualifies as a signature.
The PDF is attached to a single email which is addressed to each recipient and CCd to yourself. You can even save some electrons by doing that way and no trees are harmed in the process.3 -
Hahaha fair enough! Not printing is always my preference, so I'll just create a pdf and send it off this week!LDast said:There is no need to persecute any trees. Quick question!
Do I need to provide a copy (redacted presumably) of my employment contract to prove my hourly rate, for my expenses? And if so do I need to file it within the period 14 days prior to the hearing (hearing is 14th so file by 31st) Or can I just bring it along to show?
If I file it do I need to serve it as well? And how heavily redacted should it be? Ideally I'd redact just about everything except my name and the per hour fee, including the company I hold the contract with, or would that be viewed as too much?
Thanks!0 -
Don’t you have a recent payslip?2

I would email a signed & dated 'costs assessment' single page attaching your proof.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

It's the proof I'm unsure of. Is my latest invoice enough, showing my cost per hour for X hours in a month? Or do I need to show my contract, stating the agreed hourly rate? If the latter how heavily can I redact it for privacy/confidentiality?Coupon-mad said:I would email a signed & dated 'costs assessment' single page attaching your proof.0 -
You don't need proof

So I sent a few pages today just so I had something on file. Got an email back from the court ten minutes later informing me of the Claimant's Notice to Discontinue, which was actually sent on the 25th! Presumably I'm waiting for the post!Anyway that's it! All over!Unless I decide to persue expenses over the falsely vacated hearing, either from VCS or the court, but I'm not sure I can be bothered!
Prosecco chilling in the fridge! 🥳4
