Best Business Credit Card (not AMEX!)

We run a small cafe, turnover circa 300k. 95% of our expenditure is with the same 3-4 suppliers via direct debit taken each week.
Recently got an Amex Gold Card after being recommended it, but spent today trying to switch all our DDs to it, to find not a single one of our suppliers takes Amex.
So now looking at other options. Any recommendations for a Business Credit Card I can use to pay Direct Debits to suppliers with, and ideally accrue some benefits/rewards along the way? Most suppliers are via GoCardless.
It's useful mainly for cashflow, as 90% of our revenue comes at weekends, and 95% of our DDs are paid on Mondays, with weekend revenue hitting the account at 3pm on Tuesdays, so having a line of credit to take the hit on these and get paid off once we have the money is useful rather than dipping into pots all the time.
NB - is it even possible to use a credit card for direct debits? I was told it was, but it seems like it isn't.

As per your other thread, the problem is that you can't pay DDs from a credit card.If your business buys "stuff" with eg. cash, cheques or a debit card, it's possible that you can use your AMEX instead. I think not, but you can set up CPAs (continuing payment authorities) in some situations. They're not as robust as DDs because they don't come with the DD guarantee, and you have to cancel them with both the card and the company. The card can be difficult.Signature removed for peace of mind0
