EDIT I HAVE NOW GOT THEM WORKING.THANK YOU ALL
Used wired headphones for years but fed up of the wires and fancy some good quality wireless headphones for xmas.
Hubby has Microsoft bluetooth Xbox headphones which we have tried on the television which is an LG 49UJ750V LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV.They won't pair.Which makes me wonder if others will,i'm assuming perhaps his are only for Xbox.
What would you recommend. ? Bit nervous of buying some and finding they don't work.We go through a sound bar when watching television together but i watch while he games,so i do need something!

Does the TV "see" the headphones in the bluetooth settings and just not pairing with them?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -
No it doesn't come up when we put in a search0

Have you set the headphones into discoverable/pairing mode?
Hadn't used the Mrs wireless headphones for ages, took me a while to remember (aka google) that you had to long press the power button to set them to be able to pair with a new device1 -
Does the TV see any other devices (if you have them)? Are the headphones broadcasting their presence? Is this site any use?

Ive read through your link,it just says connect to other devices.Doesnt specifically say yes or no to a television. Will give it a go.Thank you.0 -
Well, they definitely do not work, despite following all the advice. So now i need to trust that TV ones will, what would people suggest are reasonable quality ones.?0

Their website says they can pair with non-xbox bluetooth devices... gives instructions on how to put it into pairing mode and how to clear its pairings (which can be a good way of solving pairing issues)
No idea how good a set of headphones they are... in principle you'd imagine they'd probably be better for TV than Music but that's what you want them for1 -

I knew i could rely on you clever folks to get it sorted. Its a great headset,so I'm going to try it for a while, then we'll order another one if i like it.0 -
Update.I tried out the headphones but they were too heavy on my head as i'm used to corded light ones.
So my question is,does anyone have any recommendations for a quality set of bluetooth headphones, purely for watching television ?
Thank you.0
