Who diagnosed the frozen shoulder, can they not refer on to physio?
In my area you can go online and you self refer yourself for physio, your doctors reception or website might be able to help.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....1 -
Was the fall recorded in their "accident book"....if companies still do this?

It's a relatively new job so didn't want to make a fuss. Now months later i have a frozen shoulder which i am told will take up to a couple years to heal. Any advice appreciated. Apparently couldn't get physio paid for from work as it would be classed as a benefit. They offered an ergonomic assessment and provided a new keyboard to help with posture etc but is there more they should do? New job so don't want to cause tension but i am in pain.
You could make a personal injury claim against them and part of that claim take the form of physio but how well the company will take to you suing them is another matter. Oddly some really won't care and will potentially even encourage people to get what they are entitled to whereas others will see you as a problematic employee and your card will be marked3 -
As someone who has suffered from a frozen shoulder, I sympathise with you. I can't offer any advice about how to get your employer to contribute to physiotherapy, but I can reassure you that it it likely to work and your shoulder will regain its full movement. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Not to be unsympathetic, but if the fall was a few months ago, and the shoulder has frozen more recently, how do you know that the two are connected?1

I agree. If the OP said at the time they were OK, or nobody was aware of the fall and the OP didn't report it, a claim against the company will be difficult now.

Perhaps they will give you time off (paid) in working hours to attend physio appointments?1

The fall was reported at the time in the accident book. Time off to attend appointments would be helpful i guess.0
