RAC Tyres; ractyres.co.uk
The only good thing about this site was the price. Given the problems I had I wish I’d paid more and gone Independant.
I paid via the rac site and booked a slot with a local garage.
Garage rang me and said the next day slot not available and couldn’t fit for another two days (Saturday)
Went in on Saturday-no tyre. Garage had to order and it was fitted on Monday. 4 days without a car (runflats so no spare)
Because the garage had ordered the tyre themselves they wanted me to pay for the tyre. No way. I told them to take it up with RAC. Might have been different if the tyre wasn’t already in my possession!!!
Moral of the story; get what you pay for. Wish I’d gone elsewhere!!!

Was the price really that good?
I've never found them to be competitive.0 -
I've always found local tyre shop to be cheapest. I do the online comparisons, then call the local place and he's always cheaper. Tyres arrive next working day.0
