EV Tariff - Scottish Power
SP introduced an EV reduced tariff in the middle of September 2023. My 2 year fixed rate had just ended on 31/08/23 and I went on to their fixed variable rate for gas/electricity. Earlier in August, I had asked about an EV tariff but was told, quite correctly at that point, that they did not have one. No-one mentioned that there was one about to be introduced. It was in October that I spotted their newly introduced EV tariff. I went online and hit the 'get a quote' link. This created a message telling me to check my email. The email instructed me to login. This took me back to my account where I once again hit the 'get a quote' link. This loop continued another couple of times. Has anyone else been on this roundabout? If so, how do you get off and get a quote? I have sent them an email asking for help on 15/11/23 but no reply yet despite their 'within 5 working days if possible' suggestion.

+1 I'm not sure if SP EV Tariff is actually Live yet, I'm also waiting for their other TOU tariffs to go live.
In a flat so I won't be able to use home charger, though can possibly make use of 1 TOU Tariff.
I had tried a few times, maybe their EV Tariff is too popular.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb1 -

Thanks for your comments Dandytf. I don't think it is the case that the SP EV tariff is not yet 'live'. Otherwise, I would expect SP to preface their online blurb with 'Coming soon!' or similar. I know that other SP customers have been having the same 'loop' problem as me. Hopefully, SP will eventually reply to the email I sent over 2 weeks ago. I will report back on their reply.
Rheumatoid, I suspect that your reply is here by mistake.0 -

No problem. I thought it might be helpful as it discusses some of the issues. There doesn't seem to be much info at all which is pretty typical for SP!toc18 said:I do apologise for that. Just switch to Octopus (like everyone else), claim the £50 and enjoy charging for 7.5p per kWh. Easy as you like.1
