Barclaycard for business

I have a small consultancy business with three employees in total. We bank with Barclays - but couldn't get business banking cards for team members (Barclays wouldn't provide them). Instead they suggested we get Barclays business credit cards for team members, with spending limits.

(This was so team members could pay for train tickets, meals when away for work etc.)

This worked out fine until a team member left, and Barclaycard for business made it impossible to cancel their card.

Online, I have suspended the card - but Barclaycard keep making an annual charge for it. I've spent hours of my life calling their contact centre - which nearly always has queues of at least 40 minutes. If you press "1" for them to call you back, they never do. If you hold on, you get through to an offshore contact centre that passes you around, assures you that everything is cancelled... and then it isn't.

I now want to cancel everyone's cards as I'm so fed up with being unable to cancel individual cards.

I've written to them, explaining the situation. They've ignored my letter. I've used the help widget on the app - nothing. I've called them multiple times. They promise things will be updated... and then I log onto the app and find they haven't cancelled the card at all and are still charging me to have provide it to a team member.

Has anyone ever managed to cancel a business Barclaycard? And does anyone know of a way I can get someone there to actually do something?
