Seriously, you’ve been given some great advice. Get a local handiman/person in to sort out the insulation in the roof if you think it’s caused by tightly packed insulation. Will be cheaper than employing these peopleMouldyOldDough said:

The pattern and location of the damp will help to pinpoint the issue, and you don't need a surveyor to tell you.Condensation can be reduced by ventilating where needed, and insulation in the loft.Leaks in the roof or flashing can be dealt with by a decent roofer, and they could probably sort any issues with the guttering.
In combination with bags of tightly packed insulation....
