Ebay 20% off code not working

Has anyone managed to buy anything using the Black Friday coupon BUYBETTER20? The only place I can see where I can add a coupon is in the voucher code box on the checkout page and I'm told the coupon cannot be added to my order. I'm trying to buy from one of the dealers that are part of the promotion (The Game Collection) and as far as I can tell I meet all requirements (purchase above, £9.99, UK shipping address, etc). Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Nope - tried earlier and it wasn't accepted.

Just tried it - not that I want to buy anything - picked an item from those included in the offer - and it took the discount off once I entered the code - so it works for me. Daft question maybe - but you know it's not off everything?

cymruchris - not a daft question at all.

I did get a big splash screen advising to use the code but in all honestly never thought it would work for the seller I was buying from. Woule have been a bonus but no big deal.

Didn’t work for me on a couple of hooded blankets (different sellers) but did work on a vehicle part.

I have never found a way to get eBay to display items to browse that are included in the offer (this one or other previous ones.)
