iPad 9th generation

Hi guys, need a bit of advice please.
my Apple I- pad, 9 months old, still under warrantee is playing up, home button, not changing to home page,trouble stating, button just not responding,etc.
what’s the situation regarding Apple warrantee ?
I am about to take it back to Argos where I bought it, I’ve got receipt, but do they take it away to be repaired, leaving me without a device.
what’s the best way, never had this situation before?
don’t want to be without a device for however long it takes !
It’s my only device.
any advice appreciated.

Don't take it back to Argos 

Take it to an Apple Store and they could well fix it on the spot or give you another one as long as it's a fault and not damage 

Make an appointment with the Genius Bar

Thanks Mike, is Genius Bar within the Apple Store?
have to find nearest one.
