Has Windows movie maker been done away with?
Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...

A good place to see a list of alternatives is
https://alternativeto.net/software/windows-movie-maker/?platform=windows
That website does say (about windows movie maker)
"Discontinued
Windows Movie Maker is no longer updated and supported by Microsoft. Last version, included in Windows Essentials 2012, can be still downloaded from MajorGeeks. It is fully functional under Windows 10 too."
So if you really want to use Movie Maker, then it looks like you can still, but maybe look at the list above (plenty of free open source ones too).
