Warranty problems
Been told by RAC 12v battery for radio, central locking etc has a manufacturers fault.
Dealership saying they can’t look at it until April 2024!! RAC advise the chances are the battery will run flat within a week
Where do I stand ? They surely can’t expect me to be calling out the RAC every week.
I drive a Citroen C4 electric which comes with 100,000 miles manufacturer warranty and Citroen Assist
Thanks

You can use any Citroen dealer to resolve the warranty issue.
If there really is not Citroen Dealer that can provide a suitable level of service, your route to damage mitigation is to buy and fit a 12volt battery from any auto-mart.0 -
Had this problem with Peugeot, Adblue emissions fault.
I called 20 dealers within 30 miles and the first appointment for a scan not a fix was 7 weeks.
Then 3-6 weeks for repair appointment.
I ended up driving over 60 miles to a dealer.
First appointment 3 days later and Adblue tank replaced 10 days later.

Why should the consumer pay when the repair would (likely)be covered under warranty just because their repair network is unable to cope.
Having said that, I'd certainly look at this option but raise a case with Citroen UK too.
Many dealers are struggling with staffing levels, parts backlogs and shrinking dealer networks causing issues0
