  • Perhaps if a large number of people consistently requested their statutory report every month then the additional administrative cost would make them think twice about withholding easy access behind a pay wall?
  • Yeah very disappointed about this, loads don't report to Transunion, it won't be anything like as good. But this whole forum is nothing like it used to be....

I fail to see what the issue is.  Having seen a number of both Experian and Transunion reports I think there's very little difference between the two.  Unless of course the MSE versions of these will vary.

I'm interested why you think it's a big disappointment.

The issue is they are more widely used (alongisde Equifax) than Transunion, and the best way to get a free quick snapshot of your monthly report aside from the statutory report via the company directly. I'd say there's a big difference in terms of who uses Transunion and who reports to it.

Unlikely, it'd go the other way and they'd view it as a money spinner putting a charge to access on (providing they legally could). Its a business afterall.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
