SAGA Car Insurance being sneaky

Saga Insurance are trying to be very naughty. Cancelled car insurance 16 Dec last year for an old car which their letter confirms was cancelled. Took a new policy out 19 Dec last year for a new car and which says price guarantee for 3 years and I have two remaining years which their 2nd letter confirms. This years renewals says my 3 years has expired and they've put the cost up £200. I don't think so since when has 12 month been 36 months.

What did they say when you pointed this out to them?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
It's been passed to a manger to look at. I've even volunteered to send them copies of their own letters. For three days I had no car insurance at all with Saga I didn't even have a car. So how they can say my 3 years is up is beyond me. Just hoping I wouldn't notice or have kept the letters.0

Are they counting the three years from when the first policy was taken out ?0
